The topping-out ceremony

How fast time flies. Our hotel project is taking more and more shape. The shell has been completed, the roof truss has been erected and the first major construction phase is finished. Of course, we did not miss the opportunity to invite guests to the topping-out ceremony at the construction site. Among the numerous guests were Mayor Odszuck, Claudia Stunz from Commerz Real AG and the owner of the Star Inn Group, Paul Garai and his hotel team. As befits a topping-out ceremony, the roof of the building shell was traditionally decorated with a topping-out tree, the technical director, Johannes Adomeit, gave a topping-out speech and drank to the health of the building owner, Oliver Soini. On this occasion, the likeable Austrian artist “Rusty” rocked the stage, embodying the King of Rock’n’roll to perfection not only visually but also acoustically. We are very happy about our construction progress and are excited to see in which splendour the hotel will appear at completion Q2/2018.
