Opening “niu mood”

With currently 181 hotels and more than 24,000 hotel rooms at over 65 locations in Europe, the family-run Novum Hospitality is one of the largest hotel groups in Germany. We have found a long-term tenant in Novum Hospitality for the property, which is centrally located near Mainz’s main train station, and will thus become part of the success story of this rapidly growing hotel company.

These days, the 16th “the niu” hotel has opened its doors. With niu, a successful midscale millennial brand and an innovative hotel concept was introduced to the European market in spring 2017. Each hotel stands individually for itself – from the name to the interior – and picks up on local characteristics. The hotel in the former Mainz train station area, for example, also has an additional name that establishes a regional reference: niu Mood.
