The Oberwang economic region – between momentum and stability

Transportation, trade and agriculture are important economic sectors in the municipality of Oberwang (Salzkammergut), which is located in Upper Austria. The A1, Austria’s second longest motorway, runs through the municipality, making Oberwang an attractive logistics location. The A1 runs from Vienna via Linz to Walserberg near Salzburg, where it joins the German A8 motorway.

SOINI ASSET let the property and all of the rental space at the Oberwang logistics center, which is located in the Upper Austrian municipality, to logistics service provider “JCL Logistics Austria GmbH” and to “POST AG”. SOINI ASSET sold the property to an institutional investor in 2019.
