The diversity of GALILEO at T-Online
A lecture hall in a shopping mall. With this headline, editor Katja Godat of T-Online has already captured the essence of the GALILEO “SCIENCE CITY GARCHING” project.
It is about mergers and about a “new lifestyle centre”. It reports on the many possibilities offered by the building complex: From a large auditorium, to hotels, office space, as well as restaurants, stores, sports and dining options, recreational areas and a church. Finally, the article quotes investor Oliver Soini: The traditional location of the TUM Garching lacked a kind of centre that would bring life to the location. This should now change with Galileo, right in the heart of the Garching campus.
